Saturday Opportunities
Take Down /Finish Line: Saturday 2-4pm
Dismantle Finish Line at Willow River Farm, move trash, load trucks with supplies. Heavy lifting is required.
Break Point Supply Truck:
Carry supplies, ice and fruit and other Break Point items. Moderate to heavy lifting may be required.
Saturday Bike Ride Opportunities
Registration at Willow River Farm: 7-9am
Day of ride check in. Checking in or registering riders. Handing out rider packets. Moderate lifting required.
Breakpoints: This is a half to full day commitment. You will assist with set-up and take down of your breakpoint.
Duties include setting up and taking down tents, tables; cutting fruit and munchies; mixing sport
drinks; providing information and directions.
Food Service: 10am-2pm
Serve food to riders at Willow River Farm after the ride.
Bike Police: 8:30am-2pm
A volunteer rider and certified law enforcement officer. Must be a certified police officer or fire fighter,
bike certified through an accredited agency.
EMS: 8:30am-2pm
Volunteer EMS rider who provides medical assistance along the route. EMS volunteers must have a minimum of
ECA or greater. EMS will carry BLS as well as BSI items. Communication is via cell phone to the ride's Command Center.
Ride Marshal: Must be a Ride Marshal through the MS Society.
SAG Drivers: 8:30am-3pm
Drive Support and Gear (SAG) drive vans/truck or car with bike rack. Help and transport cyclists who are unable to
ride to the next breakpoint or that need mechanical support. Must have a valid Texas Drivers License, proof of insurance, 18 years of age or older.
